Packing your hospital bag can be an exciting part of pregnancy but it can also be stressful, I mean how to do you actually decide what you need to take in to hospital to welcome a newborn! Most websites say to have yours and your baby’s bag packed by 36 weeks but personally I can’t wait that long and I want to be mega organised. So, I am ticking it off my to do list by 33 weeks (Anyway, I will check it and then double-check it)
Here is what I am packing:
- Maternity notes and Birth plan
For me:
- Night shirts
- Slippers
- Underwear
- Maternity pads
- Breast pads
- Leggings and a baggy top for going home in
- Pen and notepad (for blogging purposes)
- Phone Charger
- Flannel and towel
- Dry Shampoo
- Soap and shampoo
- Toothbrush and Toothpaste
- Hairbands
- Deodorant
- Make up
For Baby – All packed in her changing bag
- Newborn nappies
- Baby wipes
- Sleepsuits
- Blanket
- Scratch mittens
- Baby towel
- Vests
- Leggings
- Socks
- Cardigan
- Hat
- Special ‘going home’ outfit
As well as this I will also have her car seat
This list may get bigger as the weeks past so I will update it if I add anything to mine or the baby’s bag
