I have some huge news!

Back in February/March time I wrote a piece about Rory and entered it in to the Mencap Journalism Awards. I entered and since I have only been writing since September 2016, I didn’t expect to get very far.
But….
I received an email and as some of you know (I posted straight away on my social media as I couldn’t contain my excitement!) I won first prize in the print category! I was so shocked that I started crying down the phone to my mum! I have been invited to the Mencap offices in London at the end of July but unfortunately I might not be able to make it as Baby Fisher might be making an appearance that week.
