I have been looking at getting Cleo a baby carrier for a while now, so when the opportunity came up to test one out from the baby brand Jane, i just couldn’t wait to get started reviewing it as soon as it came through the door! I like to think I am an avid multi-tasker so the idea of being able to watch Cleo as well as do any chores that need doing is really appealing to me.
Baby wearing has become really popular in recent years and there is no wonder why. It has some amazing benefits. Babies love close contact and this is very easy to achieve with a carrier, in fact baby wearing is both good for the baby and it makes the parent’s life just that little bit easier.
The Jane Travel 3 Position carriers features
The Jane Travel 3 Position baby carrier comes in 4 different patterns so there is plenty of variety, whether you are picking for a boy or a girl or if you don’t yet know the sex of the baby and want one that is perfect for either. When you carry your baby to face your chest they can feel and hear your heartbeat, giving your baby a sense of reassurance. The carrier is suitable from birth to around 12 months or 3.5KG to 9KG.
The carrier can be used in 3 ways: Front – Forward outward facing, Front – inward facing or it can be used as a back carrier. Your baby has to face inwards towards your body until around 4 months old then after that can be placed in the carrier to face forwards outwards or forwards inwards to face you as well as on your back. One great feature that I have never seen before on the carrier is the removable dribble bib. It protects your clothes when your baby is facing inwards.
Personally I found it very easy to get Cleo in and out as the carrier opens up to make lots of room to place your baby inside. As someone with back issues i did concern me that carrying Cleo would hurt my back. The Jane carrier has brilliant features to ensure babies weight is evenly distributed. It has lumbar support that crosses over to give added support. Jane have really ticked all the boxes when it comes to added support. The carrier padding gave excellent support for Cleo’s neck and head and the back support for me was brilliant.
We have been testing out the carrier in the Topping Fluor design. The design is lovely and the dark grey goes very well with the bright lime green and I love the bunny rabbit design on the font. the back support has the branding of Jane Kids Zone on it in the matching colour scheme. This carrier is both stylish and comfortable.
The price is £59.99 and available from the Jane UK website. I think for the quality of the carrier this is a very reasonable price. Cleo loves being carried around so she can look around. This carrier does exactly that and we love using it. We would defiantly recommend the Jane Travel 3 positions carrier!
I have filmed a try on video and it is over on my YouTube
