In true Game of Thrones style I am going to say that ‘winter is coming’ because it won’t be long and all the Christmas decs will be in the shops and the autumn clothes will be on sale.
It seems people are divided when it comes to enjoying the weather. Some people love it to be hot and sunny with days out at the beach and in the pool while other people enjoy the weather when it is colder, the leaves are falling off the trees and the kids are circling toys in the Argos catalogue.
When I comes to what I prefer, I would rather have a colder day with wellies and hot chocolate. When it comes to planning days out, we are pretty good at it. Sometimes we just wing it and go exploring where ever the road takes us, other times we plan our day in advance. This is where the Bucklist Mumma comes in to play. She has created an amazing book that you can document your adventures in. It is the called My Winter Adventures. In this book are colourful pages that you can fill in with help from the kids. All the pages include a space for where and when , a photo and your favourite memories. You also get a very helpful ideas sheet which is jam-packed with great bucketlist ideas for your winter adventures.
Our winter adventures will include long walks in Sandringham Estate which we love doing in the colder months. Elsa loves running around in her wellies so this is definitely a must for us. There is one thing on the ideas sheet that we can’t wait to do and that is decorate the Christmas tree. It might be a bit early for some to talk about this but we are so excited for Christmas already! Filling up our bucketlist book throughout the winter is going to be our family goal.
It will be a great keepsake for the girls and Elsa will be able to take it in to Nursery when she goes back after Christmas to show all her school friends. It is such a great idea and we are so excited to start our winter adventures!
You can purchase your winter adventures book from Bucketlist Mumma and with the discount code ‘COASTALMUMMY’ you can grab your copy for just £5 including p&p. There are lots more ideas over on the Bucketlist Mumma website so if you are stuck for things to do then heads over there for some great inspiration.
I am sure we will share our winter adventures as well as our updated Our Winter Adventures book over on our social media too!
