Nestlings – Toy Review

AD – Gifted Product

A couple of weeks ago, Elsa received a delivery of a new toy. A new toy always goes down well with Elsa but she had her eye on this one for a while and she was so excited to start playing with her new Nestling.

We have seen Nestlings advertised on children’s TV and I think it might have been love at first sight for Elsa. She loves interactive toys and that is exactly what a Nestling is. The Nestling reminds me a lot of a toy I had when I was a child, a Furby. Only Nestlings give birth to eggs so they are even more real and interactive.

When you sit your Nestling on their nest and love and play with them, they can then give birth. The more you play the more likely they are to have their babies. The Mummy Nestling will also talk to her babies after they are born. The Nestling has huge colour changing eyes which change to however they are feeling. When the Nestling is about to have it’s babies, the eyes turn to rainbows so you can be ready for the arrivals.

Nestlings love to sing and they speak to you their own cute language. Elsa has been learning what her Nestling needs and giving her all the love and attention that she needs.

As a parent, I think one of the best thing about Nestlings is that the eggs can be reloaded meaning that your child can play with their Nestling over and over again and I think for the price this is a really good feature.

The Nestling is priced at £49.99 which I think is fair and a normal price for a toy like this. It requires AAA batteries and so far it has been a huge hit with Elsa and Cleo!
