I feel like that sometimes I all I do is try to find things to keep the kids entertained. It is a part of life as a parent. Thankfully, we have been playing with some new Spin Master goodies which are keeping the kids ( and Jonny and I entertained!)
Spin Master make all sorts of great products for kids. I have spoken about them before on the blog and we have reviewed their toys before. Uni-Verse Surprise collectables , Pet Obsessed Hatchipets, Baa Baa Bubbles Game and Hatchimals Colleggtibles are just a few of the Spin Master toys that we have reviewed before and it is clear to see that their products are a huge hit with Elsa and Cleo. It won’t be long before Brody is enjoying Spin Master too!
To add to our Spin Master collection, we have been playing with 2 products and they things that we haven’t played with before!
Kumi Kreator
So the first product that we have been playing with is the Kumi Kreator. The Kumi Kreator is a small kid friendly bracelet maker. You simply load it with the spools of thread which are included in the kit, spin the handle and Kumi Kreator creates a beautiful weaved friendship bracelet or necklace. The kit includes the Kumi Kreator, 60 spools of 5 colours, 2 design booklets (bracelet and necklace), clasps and everything you will need to finish off your creations. There is enough spools to make up to 5 bracelets and 2 necklaces and the design booklets guide you in where to put each coloured spool to create some beautiful weaved jewellery. The Kumi Kreator is really easy to use and is great for ages 8 and over. Elsa and I played with this so it is a great products for younger kids too but with supervision and help from an adult. It is very very easy to set up and the jewellery that it makes is brilliant. It would make a ideal gift and you can also purchase the additional refill packs too. You can purchase one for around £20 and it will create hours of fun.
Kinetic Sand
I am going to be honest, I have spent hours watching videos on social media that include kinetic sand. There is just something so satisfying about it. I can’t be the only one that has done that?! Surprisingly this is the first time we have actually played with it ourselves! We have the rainbow mix set which comes with 3 colours, red, yellow and blue. It also includes 6 tools including a cutter. You can play with Kinetic sand for hours! The product itself is completely safe, one concern that I did have is safety. It is made from natural sand and is wheat, gluten and casein free so it completely child friendly. Elsa did like to mix the colours so we have a brown with multi-coloured specks kinetic sand but it is still so much fun to play with. The kit we have is priced at £10 and it is 100% worth the money!
Spin Master definitely creates boredom busting products for children ( as well as adults!) and I am sure it won’t be long before we are playing with even more Spin Master toys!
