How I’m Passing The Time In Isolation

Let’s be honest, We are all a little bit bored of being a home and we could all could do with a little bit of inspo when it comes to finding things to do. Which is why I am writing a post on how I’m passing the time in isolation.

While in isolation, I have discovered that I love doing my makeup again. For a good 3 weeks I didn’t wear any and it was a chore but because I now have time, I am able to try and test out products that I have wanted too for so long. I am yet to film any Youtube videos about it though! I am on TikTok more than ever now ( I mean, who isn’t?!)

TikTok seems to take my mind off the fact that we are living through a pandemic and some of the videos are hilarious. It is easy to make videos on there and the kids love getting involved too.

I can’t believe I am even saying it but gardening. Yep, gardening. We have lived in our house for 4 years and we never really bothered with the garden. I am not that in to gardening and we just didn’t know what to do with the space but with the help with the kids, we know what we want to do now and are really enjoying making it our own space and making the most of the amazing garden that we have. Talking of the house, the main thing I have been doing is cleaning.

Just like everyone else, I have been cleaning like a crazy woman. Some day I really can’t be bothered to do it so I do it a lot less but other days I do a really good clean. We have been using the Astonish cleaning products for certain jobs in the house such as the oven and any areas that we think may need to be cleaned with their amazing mould cleaner! It isn’t just cleaning though, we have been sorting through things that we have been putting off. It feels amazing to finally get jobs done that we have been putting off for a while.

It is important to remember that it isn’t a competition of who is doing the most or who is more productive during this testing time!
