I have a feeling that 2020 is the year that started a hype with UK Staycations. In a time where we can only go so far, the UK seems like such a lovely place to holiday. Which is why I have created a must have list for staycations!
Treasure Trials* – We recently reviewed Treasure Trails ands you can read the full blog post here. Treasure Trails is a company that have created hundreds of treasure trails across the UK. We were surprised to find that there are so many closer to us! They are priced at £9.99 and each one is themed and the website will tell you how long the trial is, the duration of the trail and if it is wheelchair/pushchair accessible which is great for families! Riverford* – Riverford is the UK’s leading vegbox service. They deliver meal boxes that are delivered fresh from the farm. Riverford is great if you want to try out new recipes and foods. There are a variety of boxes to choose from; Simple (quick to cook), Light (under 550 cals) and Foodie boxes, each in with Vegan, Vegetarian, Meat, and Prime Cut options. So there is something for everyone, even the fussiest of eaters. The boxes contain everything that you need to create the most delicous meals! We tried a Riverford box and we loved it and we are planning on ordering more. The recipes are simple to follow and the food tasted incredible and I am not the best cook! BuyAGift* – What is a staycation without an amazing place to stay? BuyAGift have a huge range of places to stay at amazing prices. There is such a variety to choose from with breaks for couples, families and even spa breaks. The staycation possibilities are endless! We have a BuyAGift voucher for 2 nights at Peckforton Castle and we can not wait to visit once things have settled down a bit. I will write a full review of our trip too. Busy Mums Club Planners*- A planner wouldn’t normally be included in a staycation post but the Busy Mums Club planner isn’t a normal planner. It includes everything you need to quite literally sort your life out. It even has a section for holidays and budgeting which is why I have included it in this post. A few over things that are super handy are:
A good suitcase – We use a IT cabin sized suitcase and it is the perfect size for weekends away.
A Chilly bottle – I brought my first Chilly bottle around 3 years ago and it is still going strong and I love the colours and designs that they now do them in.
A camera – I have a panasonic vlogging camera that I love but I will always go back to just using the camera on my Samsung Galaxy S10 plus 5G
Entertainment for the kids – Elsa was recently sent the Alcatel 3L* and it is perfect for her education apps. With it being a phone, I was a bit worried about her using it but it has been brilliant for long road trips in the car.
