World Down Syndrome Day 2021!

Can you believe this is our 6th year of celebrating World Down Syndrome Day?! This is the 4th year that we are lighting up King’s Lynn Town Hall too!

Once again, we have organised to have King’s Lynn Town Hall to be lit up in blue and yellow for the 21st March!

World Down Syndrome Day is a day of raising awareness and celebrating with other families.

2020 was very different, it was only a few days before the first national lockdown so even though the Town Hall was lit up, we were unable to see it ourselves.

I am really hoping that this year will be different! I am crossing my fingers that people will actually be able to see it for themselves. Obviously at the moment, it is looking like a gathering will not be going ahead and we wouldn’t want to encourage anyone to drive miles to see it.

We all need to stay safe as well as celebrating WDSD!

The Town Hall will light up in blue and yellow from around 6pm. King’s Lynn Town Hall is opposite Saturday Market Place.

For the people that can’t visit but still want to see it on the day, I will be going live on the Facebook event which you can find here: https://fb.me/e/1tiOtWWoi

I hope you can join us to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day 2021!
