Learning Resources Review!

We were recently sent some new toys from Learning Resources and this is what we really thought!

We have known about Learning Resources for years now and fun fact but their offices are not far from where we live!

Learning Resources create products for all children. Their products range is huge from Stem to maths to science and pretty much everything in between.

You could get lost on their website (in a good way) with so many products on their, you will want it all. There are even some products that I want to play with!

So what did we review?

We got to pick a few things off the site and the girls chose the Jumbo Sand Timer bundle, Pretend and Play School Set and Smart Toss Skills Activity Set.

What we thought

Jumbo Sand Timers

Sand times like these are a classic. I remember playing with some when I was in school. They are great at teaching children about time visually. In the bundle there are 4 sand timers; 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes and 10 minutes.

These are not just good for a class room but also at home. You can use them for activities and playtime. Ideal for time management too.

Each timer is a different colour which is great as your children will be able to differentiate the duration for the timer to the color of them.

The Jumbo Sand Timer bundle is priced at £58 and is suitable for children aged 3-7.

Pretend and Play School Set

Who doesn’t love a role play set?!

We have never seen anything like this school role play set before and the idea behind it is amazing!

The set is fold away so easy for travel and storage. Even though it is fold away, there is so much to this set.

It comes with:

  • Double-sided map (United Kingdom and Europe)
  • Calendar
  • Eraser
  • Mini classroom bell
  • Hand pointer
  • School clock for basic time telling activities
  • White board and dry wipe pen
  • Two pencils
  • A variety of teaching supplies (10 pages of stickers, 20 each of pupil scoreboards, certificates, note paper pages, worksheets for maths and spelling and homework record sheets)

Children can play on their own or with other children and is it also a great toy to play with your children. It helps develop communication skills and encourages number and letter recognition.

The Pretend and Play School Set is priced at £38 and is suitable for children aged between 3 and 7 years.

Smart Toss Early Skills Activity Set

My children love to learn through play and I think it is one of the best ways to tech children.

The Smart Toss Early Skills Activity Set is ideal for that. It gets children up and moving while teaching them things like colors, shapes and numbers.

The game is a 4 in 1 game and folds flat for travel and storage. It comes with 12 bean bags which store in 2 bags that are attached to the game itself.

It had 4 different ways to play;

  • Colour
  • Number
  • Shape
  • Free Play

It helps develop and encourage so many skills in children including their gross motor skills.

The Smart Toss Early Skills Activity Set is priced at £50 and is suitable for children aged between 3 and 10 years but is fine for all the family!
