A day beside the sea is just what the doctor ordered!
For the first time in what seems like forever, we went to a theme park or a place that had rides for adults! To be quite honest, I can’t remember the last time I even went to a theme park without young kids!
Pleasure Beach is situated in Great Yarmouth along the prom. It has a number of different rides which go from family friendly to adrenaline rides. There is something for everyone and even though it is a great place to take kids, you can also enjoy it as a group of adults too.
The biggest ride at the park is the wooden roller coaster which was built in 1932. For a ride that is almost 90 years old it does pack a punch and we were surprised by how fast it actually was.

There are other rides such as the twister, waltzer and a few other rides for adrenaline junkies. One of the newest rides is lightening 360, an jet themed ride which the rider can control if the plane they are seated in goes upside down while being quite high in the air. This wasn’t a ride for me but I did manage to get my brothers on it though and they seemed to have great fun!

When it comes to the smaller rides. We allowed Elsa to choose whatever she wanted to go on with no pressure of going on the bigger rides. She started off with the motorbikes then worked her way up. She had around 5 goes on the horse ride and a few goes on the snail ride. Up until she wanted to go on a roller coaster. She decided on a spinny short coaster called whirlwind.

All in all it was a brilliant day and well worth the money. It costs £13.50 for a wristband and you get alot for your money.
2 tips for the day – check weather! Great Yarmouth can be very cold and rain would ruin the day and check heights for rides before visting so you know who can go on what!
