Many of us will be tuning in to the new series of Love Island tonight.
I will most definitely be one of those many people.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of people sit down to watch it and no doubt within those people will be some that become self conscious.
We all naturally compare each other. No matter how hard we try, it just happens so this is my message for everyone who feels self conscious.
Your body has been through alot. I know first hand what a body can go through and come out stronger. We have bodies that have fought hard, carried babies, been through some of the toughest moments in life. It is easier to hate your body than to love it. Comparing bodies is natural but we can’t compare what our bodies may have gone through or potentially what it will go through. Having babies, surgery, lifestyle changes, pretty much everything that can have an impact on our bodies.
My body tells a story of my strength and resilience. Everyone’s body can do that. Every mark has a story to tell.

My body has carried 4 babies. 3 here with me and one that isn’t. It has been through surgeries and times where I didn’t think it could take much more. Looking back, some days I might hate my body but it is bloody amazing!
“Your words have so much power. Every day, if you tell yourself, ‘I love you,’ if you give yourself one word of validation, it will change your mind.” – Ashley Graham ❤
