Circus Cortex has brought their Glory show to Cromer and we headed over to experience it for ourselves!
Circus Cortex is not like your average Circus! It is a high energy and fun packed show that features some amazing stunt acts as well as the regular circus acts such as a tightrope walker and a clown.
The circus tent might look small from the outside but inside it is bigger than expected which set going right up to ring side to give you a full on circus experience. There are snacks such as popcorn and candyfloss as well as drinks and lights for the kids available to purchase before the show begins and during the interval. The whole show including the interval lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
When it comes to being Covid secure. The staff wear masks when they are walking round the crowd and they are currently at 50% capacity to ensure social distancing is followed. There are toilets on site and the circus is very accessible as it is on the main cliff carpark.
The staff are very friendly and they act like one big family. It is incredible to watch the show come together and create an amazing show. Circus Cortex has a lot of influence from the Moscow State Circus as the director and producer has also worked on that show. The acts would seem out of place in some of the best and well known circus all around the world.
I love taking the kids to things that inspire them and Circus Cortex did exactly that. They know want to be in the Circus and learn to do the acts that they saw at the show.
Circus Cortex is in Cromer until the 3rd of August and show times are:
Today – 2nd August – 3pm and 7pm
3rd August – 5pm
