Our Whitenoise VW Festival Experience!

The kids had their first ever festival experience and this is how it went…

A couple of weeks ago, we found out about Whitenoise festival which took place at Norwich Showground. Very kindly, we were invited to attend and as this was the first festival that the kids had been to, they were very excited.

Whitenoise festival has been running for 17 years now and is a VW Festival. There is music, cars, children’s activies, good food and so much more. Some activities were included in the price of the ticket. Rollerskating was a free activity and Elsa loved having a go! Activities such as the funfair were an extra charge but everything was cheap.

The festival ran from the 19th – 23rd of August and camping was available too. They had a quiet and family camping section and the whole event was very family friendly.

We only went for the Saturday and got there around midday and left at 11pm! It was a long day but there was so much to do. It did rain but that didn’t stop us. Some umbrellas sort out that little problem but it didn’t stop us having fun!

Merchandise, food, drinks and treats were all reasonably priced and didn’t break the bank like other festivals. The whole event was very well organised and the first aiders were even giving our Covid lateral flow tests so people could test while they were there which was brilliant to see.

The headliner of the night was Judge Jules who had a band with him. They played classic dance music and the whole atmosphere was incredible!

It was amazing to be able to experience this with the kids and it has really opened our eyes to doing festivals with them again. Whitenoise is definitely on the list for next year and we can’t wait to visit again!
