I love discovering new shops and since we have spent more time exploring the local area, we have discovered little gems that we hadn’t before visited. Everything Outdoor in Holkham was one of those.
Everything Outdoor is a independent shop that stocks outdoor clothing, accessories and footwear for women, men and children. It is situated in the middle of both Holkham Hall and Holkham Beach and is in walking distance from both. There is free parking outside the shop too which is always a bonus!
They stock a huge range of brands from Joe Browns to Jack Murphy to Dublin boots to Seasalt. Some brands stock sizes 8-20 which again is a huge bonus and it is great to see bigger sizes being stocked. The shop is based in The Reading Room and is close to Adnams and the other shops that Holkham has to offer.

Over the last few weeks, I have been getting ready for Autumn/Winter. The weather is definitely changing and since it is my favourite season then I thought there is no time like the present to get ready. The kids needed new coats and other winter bits and I was on the look out for a new winter coat for myself. Since I don’t drive, I need a good coat for the school runs. One that is warm and waterproof but also that looks the part and looks good.
I managed to go in to Everything Outdoor and find that they stock children’s size wax jackets. These are usally really hard to find! They were also priced at £29.99 which is a great price! I got one for Elsa just to see what the kids thought before buying 3 of them but after a week or 2 of the kids trying it out, I have decided that I need to go and get Cleo and Brody one each too. It will last them for years and since they are unisex, they can also be passed down and they pretty much last forever due to the way they are made and the nature of wax jackets. I am so impressed with these and they are going to be a great addition to the kid’s wardrobes this Autumn/Winter. Brody’s newest addition is his little tweed cap which I purchased from Everything Outdoor for £6.99!
Now on to myself and coat shopping. I love a good wax or tweed jacket but I was looking for something a little different this year. I most definitely found it at Everything Outdoor. I got a Jack Murphy Una Riding Coat. I won’t go in to a lot of detail because I am going to a full detailed review of the coat very soon but the quality is exceptional. When choosing a coat, the lady in Everything Outdoor was lovely and helped so much. The Una coat is fully waterproof, it is windproof and made from breathable fabric. It is an incredible coat and this is the perfect example of the amazing products that Everything Outdoor stocks.
If you are in the Holkham or even North Norfolk Coast then I highly recommend giving the shop a visit. The price range for the products in the shop is great and some products are surprising cheap considering the quality of the products!
