I got myself a new winter coat! A huge shoutout to Everything Outdoor in Holkham which is where I got this gorgeous jacket from.
I have recently wrote a review of the store, Everything Outdoors as it is so important to support local smaller businesses. Everything Outdoors is situated in Holkham, Norfolk but they also have a small selection on their online store.
Now to the review of the Jack Murphy Una Jacket!
There is a lot that I look for in a coat or jacket. With walking to school almost everyday, the coat must be warm and waterproof. Those are the 2 most important factors. Of course, if it is gorgeous coat then that is a huge bonus!
The Jack Murphy Una Jacket is the perfect cold weather coat. It is mid length and is made from waterproof, windproof and breathable material. The Una jacket has the signature Jack Murphy printed padded lining for extra warmth. This coat is the ideal coat for being in the country and outdoor pursuits. It is warm and has all the features that are needed for the perfect winter outdoor coat.

For extra rain protection, there is a detachable hood and adjustable cuffs. Comfort and practically has been heavily thought about when it comes to the design of the Una coat. On the collar, pockets and accenting princess seems is moleskin detail. The Una us available in 2 colours; Navy and Brown.
I have been using the Jack Murphy Una Jacket for a few weeks now and I have to say I am impressed! It is comfortable and very warm. It is going to be great to wear when it is frosty or snowing. The length is also brilliant, it is a longer length coat which is always a great design feature when it comes to a cold weather coat. Sizing is good too and a huge bonus is that Jack Murphy make the coat up to a size 20 so plus size is also catered for. Everything Outdoors stock all sizes too! The coat is on the more expensive side at £197. A few things to mention when it comes to price though, it is machine washable so it can be washed at home easily. Jack Murphy make the jackets to order and they use ethically sourced products. Their clothing is made to last and looking at the quality of the jacket, I can see it lasting winter after winter. This makes the cost per wear low and helps with sustainability.
I am a bit of a coat/jacket lover to be completely truthful and I have many country coats in my collect. Normally I would go for a tweed (Everything Outdoor stock beautiful tweed too!) but it is nice change to have something different. The Una jacket has fitted right in to my collection and I can tell it is going to get so much use over the next 5/6 months.
