Counter Culture have some of the very best sustainable beauty and well being products and they championing Female founders and boutique brands. They are bringing the smaller businesses to the larger consumer base while being sustainable and ethically sourced products.
I recently swapped out some of my beauty products for more sustainable products that are available from Counter Culture Store.
Sheeba London Superberry Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Sheeba London creates planet based skincare that is 98% natural and organic, sustainable and hypoallergenic. It has a huge free from list including fragrance, animal testing, microbeads, toxic chemicals just to name a few. It is suitible for all skin types and can help reduce acne, redness, clogged pores, dark marks and helps protects from UV damage. I am using this instead of a popular beauty shop brand Hyaluronic Acid, so far it is working great and there is no irritation. The packaging is great too and the price is similar to that of my regular one. It is priced at £14.49. It is a great swap so far!

Flamingo Soap Co. Blossom Soap
Flamingo Soap Co. create zero waste soap that is palm oil free, vegan and has no parabens or SLS. The soap packaging can be planted as it is embedded with wild flower seeds. The soap is amazing for both bathrooms and kitchens and it lasts longer when placed on a soap draining dish. I swapped my regular bath soap for the Flamingo Soap Co. Blossom Soap and it works just the same. The Flamingo Soap Co has a nicer scent though which is a bonus! It is priced at £6 which is more expensive than a regular soap but with the no waste packaging and extra love that has gone in to the product it could be worth the extra money.

Scrubbee Coffee Face Scrub
A face scrub isn’t something that I use all the time so I only have one in my skincare ‘kit’. I am a bit worried about using a scrub as it can be damaging to skin and also bad for the environment. Scrubbee Coffee Face Scrub are 100% natural, 100% vegan, cruelty-free and made in the UK. They are free of parabens, palm oil & artificial fragrance. Each pot of Coffee Scrub saves 5 cups of coffee grounds from going in to landfill. The Coffee Scrub is made for oily skin and is formulted to help oily skin with the perfect active ingredients. The smell of this scrub is incredible and that is one of the reasons why I love this swap. It works, is more eco friendly and is just an all in all good product that does its job very well. It is priced £12.99

Bamboo Flannel
This is the easiest swap. A simple swap from my regular flannel to a bamboo flannel. Bamboo is a soft and eco friendly material so it is ideal to make cloths and towels out off. The bamboo Flannel that is available from Counter Culture is 50% bamboo, 50% cotton and anti fungal. It is the perfect item to remove make up and can completely replace things like make up wipes.

Zelenci – Neroli Cleansing Balm
Neroli is an opulent and expensive ingredient. It is personally one of my favourite scents. The Zelenci Neroli Cleansing Balm is a great swap for any make up remover. It can be used with the bamboo flannel to remove make up and cut out make up wipes completely. Neroli is the happiness essential oil and can help create an at home aromatherapy experience. The Zelenci Cleansing Balm works well and I love the scent. It is a great eco swap and this is a product that I am going to 100% continue to purchase! It is priced at £12.95.

All of these products are available on the Counter Culture website.
