The Christmas season is here and it has come round so fast!
For years, I would envy the events that would happen in places like London and other major cities as Norfolk never really had any big Christmas events. We have always had the famous Thursford Christmas Spectacular but other than that and a few little Santa experiences, Norfolk was pretty much left out when it came to the festive events. Over the years though, things have changed.
More and more events have been organised over the county. With events for every age, budget and location in Norfolk. So lets go through some of the events in Norfolk for 2021!
Thursford – There are 2 events at Thursford this year! They have their Christmas Spectacular show which I have recently reviewed, you can read that here. Thursford also have their Enchanted Journey of Light,a walking trail which is both inside and outside. Like every year, Thursford is an incredibe event! It is one of my most loved Norfolk Christmas event. You can find tickets here.
Sandringham – For the second year, Sandringham are working with Luminate. This is one of our favourite Christmas events and we highly recommend it to anyone! You can read our review here. Tickets are available here
Blickling Hall – Blicking Hall have their Christmas light event again this year. This is an outdoor event and is a light trail in the gardens of Blickling Hall. It is organised by the National Trust and is a great event for history lovers too! Tickets are available here.
Holkham – Another one of Norfolk’s grand houses. Holkham has lots of Christmas events this year from a Christmas Tree shop to candlelight tours of the hall. Their Santa experience has sold out for this year so follow them on social media for other events and for next years Christmas events! Tickets are available here.
Pensthorpe – Pensthorpe recently had their Christmas market so their Christmas events are in full swing. This year they have 2 Santa events. They have a Santa explorer event which for this year has sold out but they also have a Santa’s grotto and there are tickets still left for that event. Tickets are available here.
Mid Norfolk Railway – The Polar Express is back on the Mid Norfolk Railway! It is on until the 23rd of December! Tickets are available here.
Roar Dinosaur Adventure – Another family Norfolk attraction with an amazing Christmas event! Roar has some great Christmas event this year and there are still tickets available. You can see tickets here.
North Norfolk Railway – There are 2 events on the Poppy Line this year. The railway runs from Holt to Sheringham and they have a Santa Special train and their Norfolk Light Express train. Both events are great for families and the Norfolk Lights event being immersive and an incredible sight to see. Tickets are available here.
