Travelling in 2022!

The last time we left the UK was in 2019 and to be honest, I thought by now, we have done it again by now! The world had different plans and 2022 is looking uncertain too.

I love travelling with the kids. If there is one thing that I want them to remember from their childhood, it is that we took them to some amazing places. Showing your children the world is one of the best things that you can do. It doesn’t have to be out of the UK either. Over the years, we have travelled more in the UK than out of it and the UK has some incredible places to visit. I think because it is on our doorstep, we forget that we can explore it.

I would have loved to go aboard this year but with unanswered questions about Cleo’s health. We are just not sure if it is right to have a holiday out of the UK as a goal. So it looks like the UK is where we are exploring in 2022.

Not that means we are disappointed. There are so many places that we haven’t gone that we have on our list and with Covid, it just seems the better option for us.

So far, we have one holiday booked. A weekend away close to the Scottish Boarder. We haven’t been up there yet and Elsa wants to visit the castles and explore the countryside in that part of the UK. What with school too, weekends work best. I am all for taking children away to learn and find out about this country history and that is what we are going to do this year.

We have another holiday that is in the pipeline but not yet booked ( we will let you know when it is) and that will be with the Norfolk Cottage Agency. We have never had a staycation in Norfolk and the Norfolk Cottage Agency have some gorgeous holiday cottages and even lodges at Kelling Health so we are going to make the most of what is on our doorstep! If you are looking to holiday in Norfolk then the Norfolk Cottage Agency is a great place to look for a holiday.

There are going to be alot of days out planned and some last minute nights away. I want 2022 to be the year that we explored everything that the UK has to offer!
