Care Bears Are Back!

I can remember Care Bears from my childhood but do you know that they have been around for 40 years! Now in 2022, they are back!

Care Bears were first created in 1981 for a range of greetings card and then in 1983, they were turned in to the soft cuddly bears that we know today. Over the years, they have changed slightly but the message and meaning behind the bears remains the same – to have fun, be happy and to be positive and kind to all. As the brand grew so did the amount of Care Bears, it started with 10 and now there is too many to count. There is a new bear in town though!

Dream Bright Bear is the new Care Bear in Care-A-Lot. It shares the message of being optimistic and that everyone can do anything they want if they just believe in themselves and dream big and bright. With the Care Bears there are unlimited hugs and they are their for your child whenever they need a confidence boost or to take on a exciting adventure.

Dream Bright’s motto is ‘believe in yourself’ and ‘ dream bright;.

The bear itself has blue and pink ombre style fur with a special badge on its belly that incorporates a heart with wings which spreads the uplifting and positive message. Dream Bright is a medium plush so is 35.5cm in size.

As soon as Cleo set eyes on the Dream Bright bear, she claimed it as her own. The ombre fur was a huge hit and the size of the Care Bear is great for cuddles and to carry around with her. The bear helps open up conversations about what are dreams are and how you should dream big.

Dream Bright Care Bear is available from Smyths Toys and is priced at £16.99.
