Luminate is back on the royal estate for its 3 year and every year, it gets better and better!
Every year, Luminate sells out and I don’t think this year will be any different. Over 37 nights the Sandringham Estate lights up in thousands of lights and interactive games. The trail is around a mile long and there are ambient music as well as light shows and there is even a memorial to the late Queen which is a heartwarming touch. Entry times are from 4.45pm to 8pm with time slots to enter every 15 minutes. The trail takes between 60 – 90 minutes but you can spend as much times as you wish at each section of the trail.
Something that is different this year is the sensory friendly time slots. These slots are going to be less crowded and quieter. These slots are: Monday 14th November 2022 @ 16.45pm
Tuesday 22nd November 2022 @ 16.45pm
Monday 28th November 2022 @ 16.30pm
Tuesday 6th December 2022 @ 16.30pm

The trail is wheelchair friendly and there is also disabled toilets are in the courtyard. When the weather is not so good , the trial might not be the best for wheelchairs but Luminate have asked that if this is the case then to email them and they will see if they can change the date on the ticket.
This is the 3rd year that we have visited Luminate at Sandringham. As a family, we love this event and would highly recommened it to everyone. We alwasy have loads of fun and with young children we find that they can run around and enjoy themselves along the trial. The staff join in and are always friendly and happy to help.
The pricing of Luminate is good. Dates Monday to Wednesday are cheaper than Thursday to Sunday. up until the 23rd of November. Monday to Wednesday are £16.50 an adult, £11.50 a child and a family is £52. On a Thursday to a Sunday the pricing is £21 an adult, £15 a child and a family is £65. Carers go free. After the 23rd of November, every day is the higher price.
Do we think it is worth it? YES! Memories are priceless and the memories that we have made at Luminate are incredible.
