A couple of weeks ago, I came across a local business on Facebook. 2023 is the year that I want to read more books and anything that encourages me to read is a bonus!
Every month, the Rachel’s Reads VIP Book Club create a box that contains goodies from small businesses as well as sweet treats and a new book. The boxes are priced at £17.50 and are posted out to you.
So what did I get in my box?
I love supporting small business so I was very happy to see a few in the box. There was a bath bomb, a sunflower keyring, a a book mark, 2 hot drink samples, a pack of jelly bellys, a tealight, a pack of millionaires shortbread that was made by a small business and then the book itself. That is 9 items for £17.50 which is such an amazing deal. Sometimes it can be hard to find yourself a new book so to have someone do it for you as a surprise is great!
Is it worth it?
YES! I have found that a little pick me up can make me feel so much better and these boxes are exactly that. The price of £17.50 is amazing considering what you get in the box and that includes postage too and it supports small business!
Would I recommend it?
If you are a book lover then this is the perfect monthly gift to yourself. It would also make a great gift for birthdays or Mothers/Fathers Day. The book that you get in the box is based on a theme such as a thriller. I got Haven’t They Grown by Sophie Hannah. I have looked at this book before but have never brought it for myself so I am so glad that I got it in this months box.
I would get myself one of this every month!
