Feburary is a big gift month for me as it is Valentine’s Day and my birthday within 3 days of each other! Books are on my gift list for this year. I already have a large TBR (to be read) list, but let’s add some more to that list, and these are the ones that I recommend as gifts, too!
I am a lover of a good triller themed booked and if you add a bit of romance, then I am even more of a fan! Colleen Hoover does this very well, and I don’t need to shout this from the roof tops as most people are a Colleen Hoover fan, but they would make get gift as a set. For Xmas, I got gifted the Maybe trio gift set, and they were a great read.
The Quelling – A Trilogy by C. L. Lauder is also a fantastic read. It is a captivating, dystopian fantasy and is the first book to come out in the trilogy. It talks about loss and love and everything in between. A quote from the back of the book reads,’When you’re Stained, patches of skin glisten like liquid starlight, and sooner or later, his creatures find you.’ It is such a briliant read!

There is a trigger warning for the next two books so just be aware of that.
Bright Midnights by LSDelorme has got some trigger warnings of school shooting, Sexual Assault, Violence, Sex. So please bear this in mind before reading this book or gifting it to someone else. Bright Midnights is the second book in the Limerent series of books. I haven’t read the first one but will be on the hunt for it now. The book follows a young girl called Amelie who meets a mystery young man in her dream. Over time, she learns how his life intertwines with hers. There are secrets revealed, and her world turns upside down. It is an on edge book, and if content doesn’t trigger you, then this is a great read.

Exodai by Elizabeth Hendrick has got some trigger warnings of graphic descriptions of real life BDSM and sadistic torture. Not everyones cup of tea but a great read! For Elizabeth, torture was not about sexual gratification – it was about love. In this frank and open memoir, she tells the story of a remarkable personal journey. Exodai is a gripping book, not for the faint of heart. It isn’t my normal read, but it was one that was very interesting!

What books would you recommened I get to add to my TBR list?
