Over the past month, we have been trying to look after our very own Aqua Dragons!
I remember Aqua Dragons from my childhood and now they are back. They are the easiest way to have your own little ecosystem at home. Award winning Aqua Dragons are real live aquatic creatures that you can hatch and grow at home. Their scientific name is Artemia Salinas and they have been living in the sea for millions of years. They were even around when Dinosaurs roomed the earth so how amazing is it that we can have our very own at home.

Aqua Dragons need to be a warm part of the house to allow them to grow so the ideal seasons to start them off are Spring and Summer when it is wamer and the sun is shining. They make the ideal hands on STEM toy for children of most ages and they make a great first pet too.
There are different themes when it comes to the starter sets for Aqua Dragons and each kit includes everything that you will need to set it up; food, eggs and instructions and even the tank to grow them in.
They are very easy to set up and they take a week or so to grow to the point that you can see them swimming around the tank.

My girls had these when they were little and they loved them. I keep saying I am going to buy some for myself. They are fascinating. x
