Verity by Colleen Hoover – Book Review

On to the next Colleen Hoover book! This time it is Verity – a thriller with a whole load of smut!

If you love a book with smut but also a thriller with a load of suspense then Colleen Hoover books are ones that you should check out. Verity is no different and actually is one of the smuttest books that I have ever read but it also has so much thrill, suspense and is actually a bit scary in places.

The book followers a writer who is asked to co-write 3 books as the orginal writter is “off” due to having a car accident. She is unable to write the last books so in comes Lowen. A young writer. Lowen finds herself in the writers home with the rest of the family – husband and Verity, the writer’s son. The story goes on to explain all about the deaths of Verity’s daughters and everything that went on in the family home in the past years. Lowen finds Verity’s maniscript for an autobiography and I won’t spoil it but there is so many twists and turns. The ending was incredible by the way!

There are many trigger warning for this book so check them out before reading it.

The whole book took me 24 hours to read and I couldn’t put it down. It was a fantastic read. It kept me hooked and I wish there was a follow on book as I want to know what happened next. Colleen Hoover’s writing is incredible and every book I have read of hers so far has been a favourite. You will not be disappointed with this book! Once you start reading, you will not be able to stop. It engrosses you and it is amazing how a book can do that.

A part of me is hoping that this in made in to a movie! I was not expecting the twists and turns that this book had and that would be amazing on screen.

I want to read it again and again! Please Collen Hoover, bring out a second book!
