Mr Frosty – The Ultimate Retro Childhood Toy Review

I remember wanting a Mr Frosty when I was younger. They have been around for decades and now they are back!

Mr Frosty is a crushed ice maker. It comes with everything that you need to create frozen yummy treats and it is so simple to use. In the box there is; 1 Mr Frosty The Ice Crunchy Maker, 3 ice lolly moulds, 2 Mr Frosty spoons, 1 penguin juice dispenser, 1 Shaped ice tray moulds, 2 Mr Frosty bowls. The only thing that you have to provide is squash or cordial and a freezer!

The Mr Frosty the Ice Crunchy Maker has a few features. In the kit, you have ice tray moulds to make shaped ice cubes, these can be used to crushed or for decoration on your frozen treats. There is also an ice lolly maker too. Mr Frosty is easy to use. You simply take ice cubes and place them in the top of the Mr Frosty machine, push down his hat and turn the handle. It will then crush ice and it goes in a draw in the Mr Frosty machine. You also get 2 bowls and spoons and a juice dispenser. This is for the crushed ice as you can add your own flavours and create treats.

When we used it, it was very easy to use and the kids really enjoyed it. They were able to experiment with flavours and use their imagination when it comes to creating their own crushed ice treats. It is also really easy to clean which is a huge bonus!

Mr Frosty is the same as I remember it and it brings back so many childhood memories. It doesn’t use batteries either which is great!

Mr Frosty is available from Argos and is priced at £22

We were kindly gifted this in exchange for a blog post
