Cleo’s 1st Birthday – A year in pictures

It is hard to believe but Cleo has just turned 1! It doesn’t seem 5 minutes ago that I woke up in recovery to see this tiny little newborn with a head of long brown hair.

Times has flown by and Cleo seems to be changing every day and before I knew it she was taking her first steps and beginning to want to be just like her big sister.

Over the past year, I have struggled a lot with my mental health still and that is something that I do now accept that it will take a little while to get better. The whole ordeal of Cleo’s traumatic birth is still something I do think about every now and again. It still surprises me how it can trigger by anxiety so much. Cleo is growing in to this beautiful little girl and seems to be learning something new all the time.

Cleo has gone from being this tiny vulnerable newborn to a cheeky little lady with a huge personality. She looks up to Elsa so much and I can’t believe that they already play together and even sometimes fight! If I push my mental health experiences a side this first year that Cleo has been with us properly has been everything we could want as a family plus more.

Since her birth, Cleo has achieved things that some people only dream of. she has worked with Asda Little Angels on a campaign with Dr Hilary Jones, she has visited some amazing places and have a lot more planned.  There is still an endless list of things that I would love for us to do as a family but there are only so many hours in the day so we can only do so much. I am so incredible proud of my Toto (Cleo’s nickname) and you and Elsa make me the happiest mummy on the planet.

I cannot wait to see what the next year hold for you and what adventures we will go on!

Here are a few pictures from the past year:
