This is the first year that I am working with the Royal Norfolk Show. We have visited in the past and last year, I went as a Norfolk Champion. It means that this year, I was able to relax a little and take a proper look at what it has to offer.
The Royal Norfolk Show is the largests county show in the UK and 2024 was bursting with things to see and do. The range of food and drink was incredible and the variety of local Norfolk businesses was incredible. It is the go to place to see the best of the best. From wine to chocolate to cakes to dog treats to jams. The list of business was incredible. There was over 700 local businesses showcasing their products.
There is a large variety of farm animals that were showing and as Cleo loves her animals, she was in her element. It is so interesting to see the different breeds and a behind the scenes of how it all works and what it takes to show at the Royal Norfolk Show. There was something for everyone.

There was something going on in the grand ring for most of the day and then there were displays for pretty much everything at the show. We visited for 1 day but 2 days is needed to see everything. It is a great place to find out about Norfolk schools and charities too. They all have their own little areas so you can go and really get to know them. It is a brilliant way to raise awareness for charities.
The Royal Norfolk Show is an amazing site and it is a must visit every year! We are looking forward to 2025!

A very enjoyable day with very good weather plus a lot to see and enjoy. The downside came when trying to leave the parking section, nearly 2 hours to leave the show. Is there a way for the arrangers to map out a set route for everyone to exit, not pushing in front wherever they can, but make it a one-way system for exit, the only downside for a wonderful day out.
