There are loads of reasons to be a blogger but I think one reason that everyone knows about is the friendships you can make with company’s and other bloggers.
Everyone has to start somewhere, for some people the journey to being a successful blogger ( depending on what your idea of successful is) can take time, a lot of time. Years in fact.
We now live in a world where everyone is on social media. This can work in your advantage and help you expand your following on your blog. I mean if I didn’t have Instagram I don’t think my blog would get seen, I don’t share it on my personal Facebook so Instagram is the only platform I share my posts on. As well as my blog being on Instagram, so are the brands that I want to get noticed by. Getting noticed can boost followers, can get you connected to the brands and make new friends that have the same interests as you. Blogging allows you to get your thoughts down. A bit like a diary but online and everyone can read it. Yes it does sound intimidating.
You can decide on your level of sharing. The world doesn’t have to know everything your doing. But they can do if you want them too. The world is your oyster so why not use it?! Company’s use social media to see ‘What’s hot and what’s not’ and to speak to the people that matter, their customers. The use of social media plays just a big part in reaching out to potential customers. There are millions and millions of people online so there is no ending to the amount of people you can get out to. Some of the most successful people started small and worked there way up and you can do it too!
I am writing this as I have received my first blogger mail from a company today!! I had a email from them asking if they could send me some of their products to review and post about. I have only been doing my blog for a month and a half and I feel as if I have already come so far in such a short space of time!!
Anyone can do it! Use social media to your advantage! Get noticed!
