Gelli and Slime Baff review

This week we have reviewed Gelli and Slime Baff from Zimpli Kids. They kindly sent over a bundle with everything we needed to have one bath of Gelli and one bath of Slime. I have 2 little fill ins for this review as I thought Elsa was a little bit too young, so we have my little Sister Rosie, who is 7 years old and she will be review the pink Gelli Baff. Also my little Brother Reilly, who is 12 years old will be reviewing the blue Slime Baff. Both have never tried anything like this before.

Rosie’s pink Gelli Baff experience

So for Gelli Baff you  run a bath as normal then you add your 2 bags of Gelli powder. You stir and then wait 10 – 20 minutes depending on the bath temperature. When the Gelli is formed in your bath it is one of the coolest experiences! I asked Rosie to sum up her Gelli Baff  in around 10 Words: ‘It’s so cool! I love it!’

After Rosie had got bored (more like I bored sitting on the floor) we had to add 2 packets of dissolver to the bath so that the water and Gelli is safe to go down the drain.

Reilly’s blue Slime Baff experience

We thought that Gelli Baff was an amazing but odd experience, well Slime Baff is even more amazing!! We have never experienced anything like this before. The whole family was in the bathroom to have a feel of the slime. I asked Reilly to sum up the Slime Baff in around 10 words: ‘ I think Slime Baff is amazingly weird and it is such an awesome idea!’

Unlike Gelli Baff, with Slime Banff you don’t have to add dissolver. You just add more water so it safe to go down the drain.

We have honestly been amazed by Gelli and Slime Baff and we will 100% be buying again (maybe with Elsa having ago) it was quick and easy weird fun!

  1. Such a simple activity but great fun!! Go on a muddy puddle search and count the amount of puddles you jump in! But always remember those wise words from Peppa Pig: If you jump in muddy puddles, you must wear your boots! (Although don t you think it might be fun to jump in muddy puddles barefooted??!)
