Trying out Good Bubble kids bath products

With two young daughters, we are always on the look out for good bath products. We were recently sent a selection of bath products from Good Bubble to test out.

Since Elsa was born in 2015, we have used a wide range of different kids products. Some we loved and some we hated so we know what is best for Elsa and Cleo. There are a few things that we look our for when it comes to bath products:

  •  They don’t irritate the girls skin. This one is a big must for us as parents, we want to ensure that the products we are using are suitable for our children’s skin and hair.
  • That there are no unnecessary added ingredients. No yuckies and nothing that doesn’t need to be there which again could cause unwanted irritation.
  • Price. With 2 daughters and another baby on the way, we want to make sure that we get the best for our budget so ensuring that we are spending money on quality products that actually work.
  •  That the kids actually like it. Bath time is meant to be an enjoyable experience so we want to make sure that the girls like the products that we are using on them. Scent and feel are both big factors when it comes to the girls liking their bath products.

Not all bath product brands have everything we are looking for. We want to make sure that we are using the best we can and that the kids like the products too. With Good Bubble, we hit 3 of our points straight away before even using the products. We were sent a range of shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath and the Gruffalo moisturiser. Straight away, we knew that  there are no unnecessary ingredients in their products.

On the bottle, it is advertised that  they are Phthalate free, Silicone free, Paraben free, PEG free, have no artificial colours and hypoallergenic which means that they shouldn’t irritate the girls skin but that would be a test for when we used the products. We also knew straight away that the kids would like the products. All the different types of products have their own scent, each of which are amazing and nothing like any bath product we have smelt before. The moisturiser has the girls favourite book character, The Gruffalo on the packaging too which they loved. When it comes to price, products start at around £1.99 so the price point is great for us too.

After using the products, we found that they didn’t irritate the girls skin. With no nasties in the products, we didn’t think that it would but you never know with young children’s skin as their skin is more fragile than an adults.  So far, the Good Bubble products are really working for us as a family and we will continue to use them and once we have finished this lot of products, we will be repurchasing.
