Another year. Another World Down Syndrome Day and this year I thought I would share the prep that goes in to it!
Every year, I organise for the local town hall or corn exchange to be lit up in blue and yellow for World Down Syndrome Day. WDSD falls on March 21st every year to mark the 3rd copy of the 21st chromosome.
Organising this year after year means so much for not only me and my family but all the other families that celebrate the day too!
In 2023, King’s Lynn Corn Exchange will be lit up in blue and yellow and I am also making packs to be handed out at Rory’s school. These contain colouring sheets, a sticker and a packet of Thank you for helping me grow seeds. Every year, we try and go bigger and better!
Check out my reel about getting the school packs ready!
Are you celebrating World Down Syndrome Day and if so, how?
