Elsa has been asking for Hatchimals since the big craze when they first came out a couple of Christmas’ ago.
The only problem was she was too little then. She is now 3 and wanting to start collecting little toys like these, mostly using the blind bags as she can buy them with her pocket money.
With Rosie’s help, she unboxed and review the new Hatchimals Colleggtibles Series 3! Like the 2 series before these, you have to rub the egg and then crack it open to revel which cute Hatchimals you have. `The difference with series 3 is that you can open the egg to revel twins! Elsa didn’t find any twins while Rosie found 3 sets. The Colleggtables come in a few different pack sizes but we received:
- Hatchimals Colleggtibles blind bag 1 pack – £3.00
- Hatchimals Colleggtibles 2 pack and nest – £4.99
- Hatchimals Colleggtibles 4 pack with bonus – £9.99
- Hatchimals Colleggtibles one dozen – £24.99
The prices are so varied that it means that you can buy one as a treat or as a birthday or Christmas present. Elsa and Rosie had so much fun guessing what was each egg. Rosie was rather happy when she hatched 3 sets of twins! I thought that the twins would have been a lot smaller as 2 have to fit in one egg but actually they are very close in size to the regular ones.
The one dozen set comes in a plastic egg container, which Elsa now uses to store her collection of Hatchimals in it. Each pack (apart from the blind bag) comes with a checklist so you and your children can tick off the ones you open up. Elsa and Rosie now want to collect more and hopefully together collect them all but with over 100 different ones to collect, it is going to take us a while. Hatchimals are a little girls dream, they are colourful and glittery.
Hatchimals Colleggtibles are the perfect gift for children aged 5-10. Elsa is 3 and she plays with them fine but always supervise your children around small toys.
Hatchimals Colleggtibles are available from all good shops and supermarkets.
