As part of my staycations blog series, I am looking for new activities that you can do without travelling to far! I discovered Treasure Trails and they asked if I wanted to write about one of their themed treasure trails.
Of course, We said yes!
I don’t want to reveal too much, just incase someone who is reading this is doing the same trail that we did. I see you googling to find out the answers!
We choose the Burnham Market trail, it is local to us so the easiest for us to do with little travelling. I was surprised to say the least when I discovered how many trails there are local to us. Being in a remote area, I thought that the closest one would be our nearest big town (25 miles away) but there is one in ever village near where we live.

The treasure trials are priced at £9.99. This Autumn, they are donating £5,000 of proceeds a month to the British Heart foundation. So if you were to buy one this month, you would be getting a family adventure and helping an amazing charity.
We know Burnham Market like the back of our hands and still some of the clues made us really think. I don’t think knowing somewhere gives you that much of an advantage which I really like! It means that you can go as local or as far out as you wish.
Doing the trail…
Follow the trail, solve the clues, see the sights. That is the tag line for Treasure Trails and it is exactly that. The Burnham Market trail is 2 hour duration, 2 miles to walk, its theme is treasure hunt and it is suitable for buggies and wheelchairs. So perfect for families! Some of the clues are harder to solve than others and it is so cleverly written. You really do explore the area in which the trail is located.

For £9.99, I think it is great for the price. It is a cheap and adventurous day out for families. It is great for getting the kids out of the house and exploring the local area. I like it would be so much fun to do one of these and take all day. Take a picnic with out and just enjoy the sights and you might see things that you hadn’t before.
Once you have finished your trail, you can head over to the Treasure Trails website, submit your answer that you will get from your treasure trail and you could win some amazing prizes. There are monthly prizes of £100 and there are some goodies for younger explorers too!

You can find out where your nearest trail is or to purchase a trail over on the Treasure Trails Website.
