The Christmas events have officially begun here in Norfolk and the biggest one in West Norfolk is back at Sandringham Estate!
Sandringham is around 7 miles from King’s Lynn and is the country home of the Queen. It is a family friendly parkland with walks, an incredible playpark, a shop and places to eat. As well as Sandringham House to explore at an extra cost. It is a great place to spend a family day out.
But when Luminate is at Sandringham, you see the parkland in a completely different light. Literally.
The Luminate walk is around 60-90 minutes long and the track is a little bumpy but OK for buggies and wheelchairs.
Luminate is a trail of millions and millions of light and light displays. Its theme is fairies and enchanted forest. The walk is very enchanting and it is incredible too see. The light displays take your breathe away.
Around half way round the trail is a place to toast marshmallows and get mulled wine. Very festive!
New to Luminate this year is the traditional fairground. This is an extra cost to the Luminate tickets but is affordable. There are 4 rides and they look magical in the Sandringham parkland.
The whole Luminate experience is incredible and it is hard to put in to words how it makes you feel. It is mystical and enchanting.
Luminate is at Sandringham from 12th November to the 19th December and tickets are available on their website but be quick, it is selling out!
